imageThe French Horn will be featured in the first concert of the summer. That’s the instrument Elizabeth Janzen plays and we received an email from her with the list of pieces that her impromptu winds group will be playing selections from — Three Elizabethan Madrigals; Antiphonal; Hallelujah, Amen; Wherever you Walk; We Hasten with Eager Footsteps; Fantasia and Fugue; Gloria from Lord Nelson Mass; Grand March from Aida; Overture to HMS Pinafore; and more!

Elizabeth Janzen, graduating senior from Snohomish High School, and who plans on majoring in music performance at University of Washington this fall, is putting together an impromptu concert with her classmates, including her twin sister Cecily. They promise classical pieces composed for the winds, and a little Dixieland. Elizabeth plays the French horn and Cecily the clarinet and saxophone.
